National Federation of Federal Employees. NFFE is the nation's oldest independent union of federal workers. NFFE has represented only federal workers since its organization in 1917. These three locals serve the membership of the Forest Service Civilian Conservation Centers.

Local 1855 President Solomon Jones receives an award from National Federation of
Federal Employees President Bill Dougan at the NFFE Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Solomon was recognized for his efforts towards membership recruitment in September 2009
at the advanced steward training session.
