Proposal to file an unfair labor practice against this union is in the works. Cindy Baker, the head complainant will be processing complaints from other employees regarding the cancellation of union dues process. The complaint is based on the convoluted process for stopping one's dues. NFFE uses specific gibberish in its Appendix B of the most recent Master Agreement in order to create confusion regarding it dues cancelling process. The online information is completely different from the present Master Agreement process. Some employees say they have been trying to cancel their dues for this "open shop" union for up to 3 years with no help from the union or the Albuquerque Service Center. Many people say you should the only reason you would need to pay dues is if you're going to do something really stupid and need arbitration. Although much of your dues probably go to union stewards and officers so they can fly around the country, some of it goes straight to the unions desired political party. Contact Cindy Baker at cindyunion@yahoo.com for more information.
